The super excellent “5 Whys Challenge” series continues. Last time, I’ve given everyone a taste of my views (I know, I apologize).
Today, we’re going to investigate further with Ilan Kirchenbaum. Ilan is co-founder of Practical Agile, and a frequent speaker, and this year’s talk he’ll try to answer the question that was asked since the beginning of man (plus or minus a year or two): IF AGILE IS SUCH FUN, WHY IS THERE A QUEUE AT THE HR OFFICE?
Let’s see if he can answer deeper questions about the conference itself:
Why should people come to the conference?
Because it is being organized by ten of the awesomest Agile geeks in Israel.
Why should people come to my session?
They shouldn’t. I will talk about why this Agile thing is making people miserable. If you know what’s good for you, keep away!
Why did I choose this topic?
Seriously? Because while Agile is a fantastic philosophy, there is still a lot of suffering in software organizations. I think people will want to know why this is happening.
Why do I think you should also go to “PERSONAS, FOR PEOPLE’S SAKE!” session by Shmuel Gershon?
Every talk by Shmuel Gershon is both fun, and keeps you thinking long after its over.
Why did the chicken cross the road?
It was on its way to the souper-market, to pick a great dill on parcely. Alas, it turned into chicken soup for the soul.
As you can see, Ilan does not only invent cool words, he’s trying to pull reverse psychology on us so we will come to his talk. Worked on me!
Who’s going to be next? Wait a few days and find out.
In the mean time, go register!
